Consumers Using More Mobile Payments

As more consumers gravitate toward mobile payments, we’ve finding that that digital payments are exploding in restaurants and in the travel industry.

According to a recent study conducted by PYMNTS.com, consumers have spent $8.1 Billion via digital wallets in February 2022.

A digital wallet, such as Apple Pay or Google Pay, can be accessed directly from a customer’s smart phone. Consumers are now accustomed to the ease, speed, and convenience of waving their smart phones to make a purchase. Plus, with many restaurants employing pay-at-the-table technologies, a customer can pay for their meal instantly, eliminating long lines at the checkout counter.
